Even as the ground raced to meet my falling body, I wasnt afraid; it just didnt seem to matter anymore. My sister was gone, my world was falling prey to a malignant force that fed on our faith, there was nothing left for me, oblivion seemed like a good idea, and so I waited for the earth to meet me. Im still not sure how long I was out. I woke up in a poorly lit cavern, and what could only be described as a monstrosity standing over me. The World of Mana StoneYou stand in what we know as downtown New York City. there are no cars, no people, and the buildings around you look as if no one has been here in a over a millenia. You wander through the remains of this once great city, under the dark skys that now hover almost constantly over this land. Theres nothing here, say for the ghost of a civilization lost to the sands of time. A broken WarriorHe sits among the broken as the sky weeps for them.A broken Warrior
His wounds scream, the horrors he has wrought burned into his eyes, echoing in his ears.
He smiles. the blood of the broken, mixing with his own & the tears of heaven, and he smiles.
He stands to leave, and it claims him, and he joins the broken at his feet, as it claims all who serve it.
And only the sky weeps for them.


From the Journal of MaximThey were good, really good. They created a contract that almost every last one of us signed, and no one thought anything of it. We bowed, we prayed, we worshiped. All that we were told, we believed. We believed hell was a horrible, vile, place of suffering and pain. We believed that the heavens wanted nothing but for us to live in peace. We believed, and we never even thought that no one had it right. I remember The End. I remember the Almighty descending to Earth, and imparting to the whole of the faithful of humanity his gift.
